New Friendship Tech Completes $33M Series A funding round with participation from...

Ok ok ok i’m sorry, I know April Fool’s Day was on the 1st and I just made up this title to get your attention… You’d be surprised of how many people are subscribed to my channels, read my articles, view my content, drink & eat at my events, benefit from my networks and resources but privately still pray for my downfall… I still see the fingerprints on the glass, screenshots from friends, deleted comments and hidden stories from time to time. 🥱 It’ll never get old, but that energy is sad & tiring. 🥱

While the psychology behind it is always intriguing to me, I do my best to not get too intertwined with it because I truly have nothing to prove and everything to share, and that’s always coming from a sincere place of pride and never ego…

Although, I can see how villain arcs are born and main characters are made on a daily basis in a world built off validation, acknowledgement and rewards for vanity metrics that are earned faster by wearing a mask and cape vs a heart on your sleeve.

That is until dead internet theory, and we’re watching AI Bots chatting with AI Bots and replacing your favorite podcasters (or becoming them). As well as constant appropriation and aggregation without attribution (or compensation) to creators continues to happen. Not to mention, people’s communication skills and speech patterns becoming more robotic because they talk to ChatGPT, Claude, Deepseek & Gemini more than their IRL friends and family. Oh and then there’s dating apps facing the same not so beautiful dark twisted fantasy… I mean, sure there’s plenty of fish in the sea, but the waters contaminated and there’s tariff’s on your Britas~

What do we do about it all? Honestly, I wish I had the answers but I’m doing my best to keep my friends and family in a sane headspace and helping them adapt and adopt vs instantly demonizing technology.

This is all at the root of what i’m building with New Friendship Tech. Using Technology, to create New Friendships, in a world where Social Media used to bring us closer together, and now pushes us further a part with the only way to beat the algorithms being in person experiences... (which I’m producing worldwide). The other parts being Democratizing Information, as we see databases and platforms disappear, taking their libraries and indexes of history with them. Alongside Redistribution of Wealth via blockchain and tokenomic models, since universal basic income isn’t at your doorstep yet and the oligarchy doesn’t want to recognize how bad our economy and job market is as they drive even more people further away. We’ll see how it all pans out.

You Either Die a Hero or Live Long Enough to See Yourself Become the Villain.

Anyways, enough of the quiet parts loud, I know you want me to yell it louder for the people in the back. That’s why I have panels, keynotes, firesides and more 🙂

I will announce here first when I start my raise, as i’m currently building my advisory board & cap table to eventually start a friends and family / pre-seed etc. 

Fun Fact: In slightly over 2 years as a one-man-show and non-technical founder, with no background in Silicon Valley, Tech Stars or Y Combinator. No investors, 100% bootstrap without a 9-5. I’ve built a global vehicle in slightly over 2 years that would take most agencies a team of 3-5 and over $500k in runway with double the amount of time to complete. So I can only imagine when I can scale this properly how explosive the growth will be, considering the current projections are already insane.

Anyways, for that I say Thank You, because a lot of you reading have supported at different capacities during this timeframe.
