🪦The Scariest Place To Be Is In The Same Place As You Were Last Year.

Long time no talk! I hope you’ve been well as this year winds down, I know it’s been very overwhelming, exhausting and turbulent for a multitude of reasons all over the world. The pressure is on to get our economy back on track. Inflation, taxes, battling the increased cost of living and low wages and so much more that’s eating people alive. You’ve got devastating war crimes, natural disasters, huge corporate layoffs and bankruptcies just to name a few… But I guess to a lot of us, that sounds like “business as usual” sadly. All that said, I respect appreciate and value any of you out there on the right side of history actively producing a legacy of impact with residual benefits for the betterment of humankind in the world that we all share together w/our friends & family.

Remember, Generosity will feed you more than Greed ever will.

annnnd while I like to say things like it’s never too late to reinvent yourself, the longer your wait to pull the trigger, sign that paper, pickup that instrument, step on that court or field, get rid of that person, place or thing that’s in the way. The harder it will be to turn over a new leaf, start fresh and find yourself in a better position in the future.

A good example of not being afraid of the unknown, in 2016 I was telling people to buy Bitcoin. It was around $700-900 each. This month we saw it skyrocket to over $90,000 each. The friends that listened to me then, and also listened to me in 2018 and 2020 and 2022 have been popping up with thank you’s this past 6 months. It may sound insane, but if you look at history and the advancement of technology today. It kinda just makes sense, right? Below is an interview of my wild ride in the space, probably surpassing over 11,000 people on Twitter/X alone this week.

☎️ From Cash to Check to Credit to Electronic Payments to Cryptocurrency. It’s not too different from Dial Up, LAN, Cable, Wifi or the journey of Cassette, Vinyl, CDs, Mp3s and streaming much like VHS to now. You get it, so I’m gonna land my plane, but just can’t reinforce and remind you enough that it’s “never too late”, but it might be a little more difficult as you get older, so the best time to do anything is yesterday. ⏳

During Gary Vaynerchuk’s Veecon this year in LA. I was reminded of a few valuable things that came from the events I produced and people I met somewhere between throwing my own NewFriendshipTech events as well as DJ’ing a 5hr set on top of the hottest new rooftop club in DTLA at the Moxy Hotel and attending other parties friends were producing.

1. The Art of Showing is up, is the most expensive art. Collect those people
2. Your Social Currency is tied to your Price Of Integrity.
3. We live in attention economy where Content + Distribution & Marketing are key.

As a lot of you know throughout all of Sept I was in Seoul, Singapore & Tokyo with my NewFriendshipTech Brand. It’d truly be impossible to cover all the ups and downs lefts and rights of this whole thing… The stories include Pusha-T, Pharrell & G-Dragon to DonDiablo, Bassjackers, Steve Aoki, crazy Mandarin Oriental Penthouse party to F1 GP Amber Club afterparty to being above 3,000 people on the mic at the Solana Breakpoint event to DJ’ing for Kool & The Gang’s Champagne launch. Flying drones at The Tokyo Tower to just so much more. I even to host a new conference called FKRD.

I’ll just leave you with if you have the opportunity, I highly suggest going to all of these events in 2025 and broadening your perspective. Who knows, you might just find someone or something that’ll change your life forever. I know the energy and interest around innovation, dedication and curiousity toward building future of things was everywhere I looked. The amount of motivation and inspo I receive, as well as treatment I got was out of this world and it is every year.
